Counseling

Often a person needs someone to answer specific questions or simply to bounce ideas off of in a confidential environment. The staff at the Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur Center conducts a needs assessment, develops an action plan, and helps you move to the next level. Our long term strategy is to partner our clients with members of the Chamber of Commerce whose expertise is business and industry will help our clients achieve their goals.

Tomorrow's Generation

It is important to develop an entrepreneurial drive in our youth and teach them the core concepts of starting a business. Tomorrow's Generation targets middle and high school students throughout Allen County, teaching them how to plan business strategies. The Nx Level curriculum is currently being taught at South Middle School. Every Thursday, the staff at the Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur Center works with students to provide skills needed to succeed in today's competitive business environment.

Business Incubation

Finding affordable office space is not a problem thanks to the Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur Center. We offer business incubation: the sharing of office space, staff and supplies among several small businesses in an effort to reduce costs. The Center offers space for both office environments and manufacturing facilities.

Fundraising

The Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur Center is supported through private donations and grants. The annual Enrichment Dinner is the largest contributor to The Center. Our goal is to gain financial support of local business leaders whom understand a strong, vibrant business community is vital to the health of the entire county.
